Maths Time in Room 1

Swatting 'teen' numbers

We are getting quite speedy at knowing our 'teen' numbers!

Adding numbers to 10 doesn't trick us either!

We are learning to count in 5s....here we are showing what 15 looks like!

This is what 20 looks like.

We are learning to recognise and read numbers.

Maths time must be really fun in your room. It looks like more than 20 in the photo though, your class must be getting bigger.

  16. Hello Room 1
You seem to be making good progress with counting in fives. What is the highest someone in your class can count up to (in fives)? I learnt counting in fives when I was your age too.

  17. Hi room 1.
That is a good way to count in fives and to do the fly swatting with numbers. Are there any more good ideas to count with numbers?
